On October 8, 2026, Anthropic announced that Claude Docs, Slides and Design are out of beta and available on every Claude plan, including Free. At the same time, two new features entered beta: Claude Dashboards for paid plans and Claude Motion for Team and Enterprise.
Claude Dashboards: ask your data in plain language
Dashboards connects to data platforms such as Amazon Redshift, BigQuery, ClickHouse, Databricks and Snowflake, or to a CRM like Salesforce. You ask a question in plain language and Claude builds a dashboard that updates as the data changes. Click any number to see the query behind it, and each chart shows when it was last refreshed. For deeper analysis, dashboards can be sent to tools such as Amplitude, Grafana, Hex, Mixpanel, Omni, PostHog and Sigma, with Looker, monday.com and Tableau listed as coming soon.

Claude Motion: short animated explainers
Motion turns a prompt into an animation, such as a 30-second explainer of a quarterly report, which you can download as an MP4. Claude writes code that animates your own text, charts, shapes and images, so every word, number and timing can be edited. Anthropic says Motion does not use a video generation model, so there is no generated footage and no AI-generated people.

What changes for Docs, Slides and Design
- Teams and Claude can co-edit the same doc, deck, design or dashboard.
- Share outside your organization or by link, if your admin allows it.
- PowerPoint and PDF exports keep formatting; decks go to Google Slides as editable files.
- Editing works in the Claude mobile app.
- Artifacts now support CMEK (customer-managed encryption keys).
What you need to do
The standalone claude.ai/design site closes on December 14, since Design now works inside Claude conversations. Teams should migrate design systems via "Migrate team design systems" on the Artifacts page, and save chats and comments, which will not be available after the closure; public links to standalone projects will also stop working. On Enterprise, Dashboards and Motion are off by default and can be enabled in Organization settings > Artifacts; Docs, Slides and Design turn on by default on October 15.
