Cookies

• The website sets exactly one cookie: NEXT_LOCALE. It holds only “vi” or “en” to remember the language you are reading, it is a session cookie (gone when you close the browser), and it is not used to recognise you.
• It is set only when you switch language, or when the language of the page differs from the one your browser asks for.
• There are no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no third-party cookies.

Tracking tools and third parties

• The website currently runs no analytics tool (Google Analytics or any other), carries no advertising code, and embeds no social networks or videos from other sites.
• Fonts are served from the website's own server; your browser never calls Google for them.
• Images and vendor logos are served from the website's own server as well. Links to vendor pages are followed only when you click them.
• If we add a measurement tool later, this page will say which tool it is and what cookies it sets.

Data you send us

• The website has no reader accounts, no sign-up, and no form that collects personal information.
• The search box sends your keywords to the server inside the address (for example ?q=invoice) to return results. Those keywords therefore sit in your browser history, like any other address.
• The cost calculator works the same way: the figures you enter and the products you pick sit in the address so the server can work out and return the result. Nothing is stored.
• If you email us, your address and the contents stay in the site operator's mailbox and are used only to answer you.

The internal admin area

The site has a separate admin area for the people running it. It is not part of this website and has no public sign-up. Administrator sessions do store an IP address and browser to throttle password guessing. Readers do not sign in, so nothing is recorded for you.

Server logs

The server logs each visit: the time, the address of the page opened, the result code, the response size, the page that referred you (Referer) and your browser details (User-Agent). IP addresses are shortened as they are written — IPv4 drops its last number, IPv6 keeps only its first 48 bits — so the logs never hold your full IP address. The logs are used to count views per page and per source, and to troubleshoot; they are kept for 30 days, then deleted automatically. No cookie or tracking code is involved.

When the server hits an error, its error log may record the full IP address of the visit that caused it; error logs are kept for 14 days.

Your rights and choices

• The site keeps no profile of its readers, so there is no personal data of yours to see or to delete.
• You can delete the language cookie at any time in your browser settings; the website keeps working, it just forgets the language you chose.
• If you have emailed us and want that mail deleted from the mailbox, say so in the email.

What is not finished yet

This page states the current situation, so some parts are still open. They are named here instead of being filled in with boilerplate:

• the name and address of the person or organisation responsible — to be published together with the About page;
• the statements required by Vietnamese personal data protection law (legal basis for processing, data subject rights, retention periods, breach notification). We do not write those sentences ourselves: they need a lawyer's confirmation before they are published.
